Milkweed is a brick-and-mortar shop in downtown Mill Valley. We offer a curated collection of natural clothes, gear and toys for babies and kids. We opened in August 2026, and are a storefront first. Our website carries a limited selection for faraway friends and local families with registry needs.

Milkweed was started by Cissy DeLuca, a Marin mom who saw a sudden gap in kids’ retail in her community. Our space at 12 Miller Ave has been a baby store since 2002, and we’re proud to be baby store #4 here. Fun fact: it’s also where Serena & Lily was born.

Our name comes from the only plant a monarch caterpillar can eat. Milkweed is the humble host that feeds something small until it’s ready to become something extraordinary, and it grows right here in Mill Valley where monarch butterflies migrate annually. Our goal is to offer natural non-toxic essentials that nurture your child through the fastest-changing years of their life, chosen with care so you can shop with peace of mind.
